Security forces on Friday killed five terrorists, including ring leader Abidullah, in an intelligence-based operation in Khyber district's Tirah valley.
"During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged Khwarij location, as a result of which, five Khwarij, including Kharji ring leader Abidullah alias Turab, were sent to hell, while one Kharji was apprehended, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release.
"Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country," it added.
