Higher powers: Special prayers offered at CM House

Leaders of political parties, other organisations congregated to pray for protection from rain, dengue and terrorism.

Sindh government cabinet members and federal ministers offered a namaz-e-tauba (special prayer) at Chief Minister House’s Jamia Mosque in an attempt to solicit divine intervention to end the rains.


On Wednesday, CM Qaim Ali Shah, former federal minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, provincial ministers Muhammad Sajid Jokhio, Haji Muzaffar Shujra and Engineer Rafiq, leaders of political parties and other organisations congregated to pray for the protection of the people from rain, dengue and terrorism.
