CTP tightens noose on heavy traffic

RAWALPINDI:

The City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has launched a large-scale crackdown on tractor-trolleys, water tankers, dumpers and other heavy vehicles violating traffic laws and rules.

A rigorous campaign has been initiated against heavy vehicles operating without a driving license and a fitness certificate and committing other violations. These measures are being taken to prevent road accidents and ensure public safety.
