Author Neil Gaiman is facing fresh allegations of sexual misconduct from four women, as reported by Vulture on January 13, 2025. The accusations include accounts of coercion, harassment, and abuse spanning decades.

One accuser, Scarlett Pavlovich, alleged she was assaulted by Gaiman while babysitting for his and Amanda Palmer's son in 2022. Pavlovich claims that upon informing Palmer of the abuse, the singer-songwriter expressed shock but merely suggested therapy for Gaiman, which he reportedly did not attend. Another woman, pseudonymously identified as Rachel, alleged that Palmer introduced her to Gaiman and described feeling "like a toy" in their interactions.

Palmer has faced criticism for allegedly enabling Gaiman's behavior, with online commentators accusing her of facilitating relationships between the author and vulnerable women. Critics highlight her lack of intervention and suggest complicity in the misconduct. Palmer has not issued any public response to these claims.

Gaiman’s spokesperson has denied the allegations, asserting that the encounters were consensual and part of BDSM activities.

The allegations against Gaiman are not new. A 2024 podcast series, Master, revealed prior accusations involving multiple women, ranging from inappropriate advances to physically harmful encounters.

The public reaction has been fierce, with social media users questioning the accountability of both Gaiman and Palmer. "She is not innocent in this at all," wrote one commenter, reflecting the growing scrutiny of Palmer’s alleged role.

This situation has reignited discussions about power dynamics and complicity in abusive relationships. As more voices emerge, the conversation underscores the importance of addressing such allegations with transparency and accountability.
