Cultural evening leaves delegates spellbound

A cultural evening at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) wowed visiting delegates with a stunning display of talent, energy, and tradition, fostering an unforgettable atmosphere of art, music, dance, and celebration.

Organised by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with the National Heritage and Cultural Division, the event celebrated the delegations attending the International Conference on Girls' Education, which was attended by academics as well as representatives from UNESCO, UNICEF, and the World Bank.

Upon arrival at PNCA, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambreen Jan, along with senior officials of the National Heritage and Culture Division, welcomed the delegation.

The delegation explored the PNCA galleries and admired the artworks of Pakistani artists. Mariyam Ahmed provided the delegation with a briefing about PNCA. The evening's performances were a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan.

Salman Adil's flute melodies captivated the guests, while Dr Masuma Anwar, a nominee for the prestigious Pride of Performance award, enchanted the crowd with her stunning renditions of Sufi and pop music. The audience was further mesmerised by the Sindhi Jhumar dance, followed by the soulful sounds of Ali Raza Khan playing the Kashmiri Santoor.

Hamza Khan, a talented Rubab player, won the hearts of the delegates with his performance of beloved tunes, while the evening culminated with a mesmerizing medley of dance performances from across Pakistan, which equally enthralled all in attendance.

The cultural evening successfully showcased Pakistan's artistic diversity, leaving a lasting impression on the visiting delegates.
