Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing public feud has taken a new turn with fresh legal battles and accusations, all involving Ryan Reynolds’ satirical character, Gordon Reynolds. This new development is linked to the drama surrounding Lively’s movie It Ends With Us, where she unexpectedly credits “Gordon Reynolds,” a persona famously created by Reynolds in his Deadpool & Wolverine role.

In the movie, Lively is credited as Ladypool, while Reynolds plays his satirical character, Nicepool. This character, known for his comedic and sarcastic remarks, first appeared as part of a humorous bit in GQ and was later showcased on Reynolds' YouTube channel. The character’s persona, which humorously refers to feminism, and his interactions with Lively’s character, have sparked discussions among fans.

The controversy escalated when Baldoni's lawyer accused Reynolds of using Nicepool to mock Baldoni, pointing to the character’s overtly “feminist” traits and man-bun hairstyle. Baldoni, who promotes redefining masculinity through his Man Enough podcast, felt these traits were directly aimed at him. Lively, who has been in legal disputes with Baldoni over accusations of body-shaming and harassment, seems to have further fueled the fire by crediting “Gordon Reynolds” in It Ends With Us. This subtle inclusion has prompted speculation that Lively is taking a jab at Baldoni amid their ongoing legal tensions.

While it remains unclear whether Reynolds’ character was truly a mockery of Baldoni, the timing of the character’s appearance and Lively's film credits adds another layer to the already complex situation. Whether this is a direct response to Baldoni or simply a humorous addition to the film is still open to interpretation.
