David Beckham was spotted narrowly avoiding a parking ticket while leaving Manchester’s Stock Exchange Hotel on Monday.
The 49-year-old former footballer parked his £600,000 Rolls Royce Cullinan on double yellow lines as he exited the hotel with his parents, Sandra and Ted. Beckham ensured his family received VIP treatment, swiftly departing the scene in his luxury vehicle.
Dressed in a smart navy winter coat, Beckham was in Manchester to attend the funeral of Kath Phipps, Manchester United’s cherished former receptionist. The service, held at Manchester Cathedral, saw tributes from Sir Alex Ferguson, Ruben Amorim, and Manchester United’s squad, who joined Beckham in honoring Phipps.
Phipps, a beloved figure at the club for 56 years, passed away at 85 on December 5. Described as a "one-woman institution," she was visited by many from her "Manchester United family" in her final weeks, including Ferguson.
