he year 2024 has been a standout one, with a wave of young and relatively new actors in Pakistani dramas making their mark through stellar performances.
These actors have captured hearts, earned acclaim, and demonstrated a dedication to their craft that promises a bright future for the industry.
1. Sehar Khan
Sehar Khan has continued to leave an indelible mark following her success with Fairy Tale. This year, she won hearts with Jafaa, where her chemistry with Usman Mukhtar was highly appreciated. The natural progression of their relationship, from strangers to friends and eventually lovers, felt incredibly authentic and relatable. While some debated the storyline, Sehar’s ability to bring out the depth of her character was undeniable.
She further showcased her versatility in Tan Man Neel o Neel, a mini-series that delves into the grim realities of mob mentality and social extremism. In Duniyapur, reportedly Pakistan’s most expensive drama, Khushhal dazzled as a fierce character entangled in a power struggle within a feuding family. Additionally, his cinematic debut in Poppay Ki Wedding highlighted his rising star power.
3. Durefishan Saleem
Durefishan Saleem has emerged as one of the country’s most beloved stars. As the lead in two of the year’s most popular dramas, Khaie and Ishq Murshid, she demonstrated her exceptional range.
In the revenge-thriller Khaie, Durefishan shone opposite Faysal Quraishi in a narrative centered on tribal conflicts and action. On the flip side, her performance as Shibra in the romantic drama Ishq Murshid, alongside Bilal Abbas, showcased her chemistry and charm, making her a fan favorite in both genres.
4. Hamza Sohail
