Speculation is swirling around the possibility of BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) joining the next season of Squid Game following a cryptic response from the show’s stars, Lee Jung Jae and Wi Ha Joon. In a BuzzFeed UK 'Shorts' video posted on YouTube, the actors were asked if the global K-pop sensation might appear in the upcoming season of the hit Netflix series.

The question prompted wide-eyed smirks from both actors before Lee Jung Jae, who plays protagonist Seong Gi-hun, coyly replied, "I can't say anything about that." The playful yet ambiguous reaction has fueled excitement among fans of both Squid Game and BTS, with many taking to social media to speculate on a possible collaboration.

V, who is known for his charismatic performances, would be a high-profile addition to the series. Notably, he is no stranger to acting. The global K-pop sensation showcased his talent in the 2016 K-drama Hwarang, earning praise for his portrayal of the warm and cheerful character Han Sung.

Fans are eager for further announcements about the upcoming season, which is set to build on the high-stakes drama and intense character dynamics that made the first seasons a cultural phenomenon.
