On the special directives of K-P Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Barrister Saif reached Kohat late at night, Express News reported.

He then proceeded towards the Kurram border area of Chappri, accompanied by the Kohat Commissioner, DIG, and other district administration and police officials.

Dr Saif stated that the convoy comprises 22-wheeler, 10-wheeler, and 6-wheeler trucks, all under strict security arrangements.

The convoy is transporting essential supplies, including five trucks of medicines, ten of vegetables, nine of oil and ghee, five of flour, seven of sugar, two of gas cylinders, and 26 trucks carrying other grocery items.

The vehicles are stationed at Chapri, where police and other law enforcement agencies are ensuring security responsibilities.

The K-P government has announced that any group engaging in aggression after the Kurram peace agreement would be treated as terrorists and dealt with accordingly.

K-P Adviser for Information Barrister Saif stated that travel and security arrangements were being made for the convoys set to move on Saturday. He emphasised that, as per the decisions of the Apex Committee, the area would be cleared of weapons and bunkers.

He further explained that, under the agreement, both parties were required to submit a coordinated plan for the surrender of weapons within 15 days, the open display and use of weapons would be prohibited, and the collection of donations for the purchase of weapons would not be allowed.

Barrister Saif added that, according to the agreement, all parties were prohibited from constructing new bunkers and that existing bunkers in the area must be dismantled within a month.

He clarified that after the dismantling of bunkers, any party resorting to aggression would be considered terrorists and action would be taken against them.
