The mobile phones robbed from a Polish cyclist couple on December 29 in Sujawal district have been recovered. Sujawal's SSP Dr Abdul Khaliq Peerzado told a press conference on Friday that they have also arrested two suspects while one is still at large.
The couple, Polish national Kowalczyk Jakub Tomasz and Scantamburlo Marie Elisabeth who hailed from France, was looted near Sajawal bypass. SSP Peerzado said he had informed them about the recovery on a video call.
According to him, immediately after the incident he tasked a team of police officers to track the suspects and to recover the devices of Jacob and his wife Mary. With the help of mobile tracing tech the police recovered the phones from the residence of Imran Obharo, who has though escaped his arrest.
The police, however, rounded up Nadeem Obharo and Maqbool Obharo. The SSP produced both the apprehended suspects before the media during the press conference.
