Two brothers gunned down over old enmity

Suspect attack victims in under-construction house.

Two brothers were shot dead over old enmity on Friday.

Police said Nadeem, Shabbir, Tanveer and other accused shot dead 32-year-old Asif Shah and his younger brother 28-year-old Asher Shah in an under-construction house of Nadeem's brother in 73-RB within limit of Khurrianwala police station to avenge an old enmity.

Police reached the spot upon receiving information. Police said that the two brothers were killed over personal enmity.

A few years ago, the deceased had shot and killed their relatives.

RPO Faisalabad DIG Dr Abid Khan and CPO Faisalabad DIG Kamran Adil took notice of the murder case and sought a detailed report of the incident from SP Jaranwala and issued orders to form special teams to arrest the accused.

Meanwhile, a man shot dead his relative and injured a woman on Friday.

Police said accused Shahbaz shot and killed his brother in law, 20-year-old Abdul Qadir, in Baseline Sidhupora within the limit of Ghulam Muhammad Abad police station over a domestic dispute.

Police said Iqra had come to his family haouse a few days ago angry with her husband, Shahbaz. When Shahbeaz came to pick her up, a dispute broke at home during which he shot and killed Abdul Qadir and injured her wife.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the in-charge of Sidhupura outpost Tahir Naseer reached the spot and took possession of the body of the deceased and shifted it to the hospital. CPO DIG Kamran Adil sought a report on the incident from SP Lyallpur Town Rana Rehman Qadir.
