Tom Holland explains why he skips Zendaya’s red carpets: "It's her moment,"

Tom Holland says he skips Zendaya’s premieres to let her shine and plans to leave acting after having kids.

Tom Holland has revealed why he refrains from joining girlfriend Zendaya on the red carpet at her film premieres. Speaking to Men’s Health, the Spider-Man actor explained, “It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

While the couple has no qualms walking red carpets for films they co-star in, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy, Holland avoids doing so for Zendaya’s projects like Challengers or Dune.

Holland and Zendaya first publicly confirmed their relationship in 2021, after starring together in three blockbuster Spider-Man films, two of which grossed over $1 billion globally.

The couple is set to spend much of 2025 filming both Spider-Man 4 and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which are slated for 2026 releases.

Zendaya and Tom Holland will co-star with Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Charlize Theron in The Odyssey, opening July 17, 2026. Meanwhile, Marvel and Sony plan to release Spider-Man 4 a week later, on July 24, 2026.
