At Peshawar Airport, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized over 10 kilograms of drugs from a Pakistani-origin British citizen.

According to the ANF, during a routine operation at Peshawar Airport, 10.6 kilograms of hashish were found hidden in the suspect's trolley bag. The drugs were carefully concealed in boxes.

The suspect was reportedly traveling from Peshawar to London via Doha.

Investigations under the CNS (Control of Narcotic Substances) Act are ongoing. Smugglers often use modern methods and air routes for trafficking illegal goods.

Last week a French national arriving in Pakistan from India was caught with a large quantity of drugs.

According to an Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) spokesperson, nationwide operations against drug trafficking are ongoing. As part of this effort, ANF conducted an operation at Islamabad International Airport, recovering a significant quantity of drugs from the suspect.

The suspect had travelled from India to Islamabad and was en route to Sri Lanka via Muscat. Upon inspection, 1.58 kilograms of hashish were discovered in the suspect's luggage.

The individual, who had entered Pakistan on a visit visa, was attempting to smuggle the drugs by concealing them in chocolate packaging.

Previously Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel at Islamabad International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle 1.3kg of crystal meth abroad and arrested the suspect.

The incident occurred during routine checks as passengers prepared to board a Doha-bound flight. Officials identified suspicious items during an inspection of the luggage belonging to a passenger named Muhammad Jan.

Upon further examination, ASF staff discovered 1.332 kilograms of crystal meth expertly hidden inside a vest packed in the suspect’s bag. The narcotics were immediately confiscated, and the passenger was taken into custody.

In November ANF foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of cocaine into Pakistan at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.

A Brazilian woman, arriving on a flight from Brazil, was arrested for attempting to smuggle 1.396 kilograms of cocaine concealed in her undergarments.

According to ANF officials, the woman was subjected to a search after appearing suspicious during passenger clearance. During the search, authorities discovered the cocaine hidden in a plastic pouch inside her undergarments.
