LAHORE:

The 'Maryam Ki Dastak' programme offering government services at the doorstep of citizens has been expanded to 40 districts across Punjab with over 70 services.

This emerged during a progress review meeting presided over by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf.

The initiative offers government services such as domicile, FIR copies, birth certificates, learner's driving licences and e-stamping through the Dastak Doorstep Delivery App and web portal developed by the PITB.

Citizens can also avail the services by calling the helpline number 1202.

The PITB chairman said the initiative aims to improve service delivery through trained representatives, providing a more efficient and citizen-friendly experience.

"The programme underscores the government's commitment to accessible, transparent and technology-driven public service delivery," he added.
