Keanu Reeves’ stolen $9,000 Rolex recovered in Chile after Los Angeles robbery

Police in Chile recover three stolen watches belonging to Keanu Reeves, including a $9,000 Rolex Submariner.

Police in Chile have announced the recovery of three watches belonging to Keanu Reeves, the star of “John Wick,” including a Rolex valued at $9,000, which were allegedly stolen from his Los Angeles residence in late 2023.

The Rolex Submariner, engraved with Reeves’ first name and the words, “2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five,” was found on Saturday in eastern Santiago during a police operation targeting a series of local thefts.

In 2021, Reeves was said to have gifted Rolex Submariners to the stuntmen who worked with him on “John Wick: Chapter 4.”

According to Rolex’s website, the watch is priced at approximately $9,000.

Ironically, the plot of the “John Wick” franchise begins with Reeves’ character – a former assassin – seeking vengeance after his home is broken into, valuables are stolen, and his dog is killed.

Chilean officials reported discovering jewelry and other “valuable” watches during raids on four properties, with at least one of the items identified as belonging to a well-known actor who was robbed in Los Angeles in December 2023.

CNN Chile, referencing local authorities, stated that three of the recovered watches were confirmed to be Reeves’ property. It also noted that Chilean police have been collaborating with U.S. officials, which led to the identification of the watch as part of the 2023 burglary.

Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the thefts.

Reeves has experienced several incidents of home invasions in the past. In 2014, his house was reportedly broken into twice within three days.
