Wendy Williams was seen in a heated confrontation with her caretakers after a dinner outing in Miami last week, following her son Kevin Jr.'s graduation.

The 60-year-old TV personality, who made a rare public appearance to celebrate her son’s college graduation from Florida International University, became visibly upset over a series of mishaps involving her mobility scooter and transportation.

The incident took place outside a restaurant after Williams and her team had finished their meal. In a video shared by the We In Miami podcast on Instagram, Williams was seen sitting on her scooter on a busy street, addressing her caretakers in frustration. "And then both of you walked away leaving my sh*t in the middle of the street like this," she said, upset that her scooter had been abandoned.

Williams, who was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in 2023, appeared agitated not only by the scooter situation but also by a mix-up with her transportation. “Just get the car please. Make sure it’s the right car,” she told her team, who seemed to be struggling to resolve the situation.

One of the podcast crew members approached Williams, asking what had happened. She explained the confusion, saying, "They got the wrong car, so I knocked on the door and it was totally the wrong car. They left my scooter as they walked over there," pointing toward the area where her scooter had been left behind. “Leaving my most precious, most—this cost a f*cking mint motherf*cker. They just left my sh*t out there," she added, expressing her frustration with the lack of care.

The disagreement appeared to have started when Williams made the decision to walk out of the restaurant without her scooter, leaving her team to bring it outside. After realizing the scooter was left unattended, she confronted her caretakers. The video continued with Williams telling her team, “Get the car over here, not over there, so I can go easily into the street to—for the car." She also emphasized her frustration with her caretakers’ failure to fulfill their responsibilities: “They wanna work for me, that’s what they’re doing. They’re making money from me, get the Goddamn car.”

The podcast host, Stunt Lifestyle, provided additional context at the end of the video, explaining that Williams' son had taken the scooter outside so she could walk on her own. The host added that Williams and her family were upset by the disorganization, particularly the issue with the car not being in a convenient location.

Earlier in the week, Williams made a rare public appearance at her son Kevin Jr.’s graduation. The former talk show host was seen smiling on her mobility scooter, dressed in a sparkling sequin ensemble, as she cheered on her son, who received his diploma. She was joined by her father, Thomas Williams Sr., and appeared emotional as she watched Kevin Jr., 24, walk across the stage. Wendy shares her son with ex-husband Kevin Hunter, whom she divorced in 2020.

Kevin Jr. also gave an update on his mother’s health after a court-appointed guardian claimed she was “permanently incapacitated.” In a message shared on Instagram, Charlamagne Tha God congratulated Kevin Jr. and mentioned that Wendy seemed happy and healthy. Kevin Jr. responded, thanking people for their support and providing a health update: “She’s sober and wants to come home. We’re fighting to make that happen because isolation is killing her faster than anything else.”

Williams’ diagnosis of dementia followed a court-ordered legal guardianship in 2022, which oversees both her finances and health. Despite her ongoing health challenges, Wendy has been seen in recent videos, including one outside Sista Sara’s Shonuff Oysters in Fort Lauderdale, where she appeared in good spirits while enjoying her meal.
