Directed by Kalees and adapted by Atlee from his 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri (starring Thalapathy Vijay), the film also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi as the leading ladies, with Jackie Shroff playing the antagonist.

Atlee's highly anticipated follow-up to Jawan, Baby John, has made a decent start in India on Christmas Day.
