Karachi weather: Strong winds expected to hit city on Dec 24-25

Karachi is set to experience strong winds on December 24 and 25, with gusts reaching speeds of 25 to 35 km/h, as forecasted by Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz.

Daytime temperatures will hover around 25°C, while the night could see a sharp drop, with temperatures falling to between 9°C and 11°C.

This cold wave isn’t confined to Karachi alone. Several areas in Balochistan, including Quetta, Kalat, Zhob, and Ziarat, have already experienced sub-zero temperatures, with Quetta recorded at -5°C and Ziarat at -7°C.

Additionally, several regions in Lahore and Mirpur AJK received the first rain of the season on Monday, with more showers expected in Lahore in the coming days.

Snowfall has also begun in Murree, signaling the shift to colder weather across Pakistan.
