Fire at Karachi’s park Towers extinguished, no casualties reported

A fire broke out on the first floor of Pak Towers in Karachi's Clifton area due to a short circuit.

The blaze filled the building with smoke, but fortunately no casualties were reported.

Rescue teams, including police, Rangers, Rescue 1122, fire brigade, and welfare organisations, quickly responded to the scene.

Firefighters managed to control the blaze, and efforts were underway to ventilate the building by using fans to clear the smoke.

All individuals present in the building were safely evacuated.

Karachi's MA Jinnah road fire under control, no injuries reported

A fire broke out once again at Rimpa Plaza on Karachi's MA Jinnah Road, but was extinguished within hours.

Firefighters, including four vehicles and a snorkel truck, were promptly deployed to the scene.

The fire, which sent large plumes of smoke into the air, was successfully brought under control without any casualties.

Initial reports suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short-circuit in electrical wires, but the exact cause is still under investigation. Fortunately, no individuals were reported trapped in the building.

Authorities are continuing to assess the situation, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Earlier this month , a fire had erupted at Rimpa Plaza on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi, causing significant disruption.

The blaze, which had started on the fourth floor housing spare parts godowns, offices, shops, and a clinic, was eventually extinguished after hours of efforts.

Rescue 1122 teams, including two ambulances, four fire trucks, and a snorkel, had been dispatched to the scene.

The building's poor ventilation had made firefighting difficult, but additional fire tenders and foam helped contain the flames.

The Pakistan Navy had assisted in the rescue operation, and emergency water supplies were arranged. Thankfully, all occupants had been safely evacuated. MA Jinnah Road had been closed for traffic, with diversions in place.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had instructed immediate action to address the situation and requested a report from the Karachi Commissioner.
