On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Richard posted an Instagram story from what appeared to be an ambulance, sharing details of the incident. He claimed that individuals ambushed him during what he believed was a promotional opportunity.
“This page just backdoored me... I just got shot. I love you all,” Richard wrote. He later shared a screenshot of the Instagram account in question, @titi_lildemon, which has over 500 followers.
While more details about the shooting remain unclear, Richard’s announcement quickly garnered widespread attention. Fans and social media users flooded platforms like X (formerly Twitter), offering prayers and support for his recovery. This isn’t Richard’s first brush with controversy. In December 2023, the content creator made headlines when he was arrested on robbery charges. Reports at the time claimed that Richard was identified by a police officer while attempting to film a video at a Port Authority terminal. The incident stemmed from an alleged fight at a smoke shop, where Richard was accused of displaying a weapon and taking items. He pleaded not guilty and was released without bail.
