The Sindh High Court heard a case against vacating order for a piece of land allotted on a 30-year lease for farming in District Malir and issued notice to the parties concerned.
During the hearing of the petition, the lawyer for the petitioner argued that in April 2014, eight acres of land was awarded to his client on a 30-year lease for farming in District Malir. On November 9, 2024, Mukhtiakar of Bin Qasim along with some unknown persons went to the land, stating that the land has been allotted to someone else.
The petitioner's counsel said that orders of the Mukhtiarkar are against the law.
The court summoned Mukhtiarkar along with the record, while also seeking arguments on the admissibility of the petition and adjourned the hearing till January 21.
Earlier in previous hearing, the court had issued a stay order on vacating the land.
