KARACHI:

Unidentified armed suspects shot dead a rider of an online motorcycle service firm near Munawar Chowrangi in Gulistan-e-Johar.

His body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where the deceased was identified as 40-year-old Fahad Hussain son of Khalid, resident of Korangi.

Gulistan-e-Johar police station officials said they found the wallet and motorcycle of the decease, while his cell phone was missing.

Eyewitnesses told the police that Fahad was standing near Munawar Chowrangi when two armed suspects riding a motorcycle indulged in a hot conversation with the victim and it appeared that the victim was offering resistance to the bandits during the mobile snatching on which the accused opened fire and fled.
