YouTube sensation IShowSpeed has set his sights on an out-of-this-world goal: streaming live from space.
Known for his electrifying stunts and viral content, Speed shared his ambitious plan during a December 2024 interview with Jon Youshaei, where he revealed his desire to collaborate with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to make this dream a reality.
“One day I wanna do a stream in space,” Speed said. “I have so much ideas that could really go crazy when I get in contact with Elon Musk. … First off, I want to do a stream in every country. I have a lot of stuff coming up in 2025.”
Speed’s aspirations follow a similar goal announced by fellow top streamer Kai Cenat in November. Cenat tweeted directly to Musk, asking for his help in becoming the first streamer to go live from space. “Let’s make history,” Kai wrote, emphasizing his intent to bring his signature "YO CHAT" energy to the cosmos.
Both streamers have dominated the platform in 2024, with Speed taking home the Streamer of the Year award and the duo garnering attention from high-profile figures like Simu Liu and John Cena. Their combined star power and Musk’s technological resources through SpaceX and Starlink could potentially make this historic feat possible.
With plans to push boundaries and elevate their craft, Speed and Kai are proving that for them, the sky is truly not the limit—they’re reaching for the stars.
