Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has officially divorced Ryan Scott Anderson, finalizing their separation on Dec. 9, 2024, eight months after filing for divorce. The former couple, who wed in 2022 while Blanchard was serving a prison sentence, has resolved financial disagreements, though the division of property remains ongoing.
Blanchard, 33, announced the split in March, citing a heated argument and concerns over Anderson’s behavior as key factors. Anderson denied any wrongdoing but expressed relief that the legal process is over.
Reflecting on her marriage, Blanchard told PEOPLE, “It’s kind of like, okay, well, you know that you’re settling … just doing what everybody else does in life.”
Blanchard has since reconnected with ex-fiancé Ken Urker, with whom she shares a deep bond. The couple rekindled their relationship shortly after her separation from Anderson, getting matching tattoos and announcing their engagement.
Blanchard and Urker are now expecting their first child, a baby girl named Aurora Raina Urker, due Jan. 22, 2025. Blanchard celebrated her pregnancy with a baby shower in November, sharing her excitement about motherhood. “Giving my daughter a happiness I never knew growing up,” she said, remains her top priority.
In addition to preparing for motherhood, Blanchard is filming a new season of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup and is set to release her memoir, My Time to Stand, on Dec. 10.
Blanchard, who was convicted in 2015 for her role in her mother’s murder, continues to embrace a fresh start, finding peace and happiness in her relationship with Urker and their shared future as parents.
