If you are feeling a void after the viral success of Fahad Mustafa's Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, and also nurture a passion for superheroes, then you will be delighted to learn what the man himself has up his sleeve on the work front. On a recent outing in London, Fahad personally confirmed he is working on a Pakistani superhero venture.
"I'm making a superhero film, which is also going to be the first-ever Pakistani superhero film," stated Fahad in a video snippet making rounds on the internet. "I don't want to disclose too much, but it will also be the first Muslim superhero."
Those clamouring for more details will have to wait. Fahad kept the cast and title tightly under wraps and described the project as "tricky" but confirmed that the film would be shot in the UK.
Earlier this week, Fahad made history by becoming the first Pakistani actor to receive an award from both Houses of Parliament in the UK. At a ceremony organised by Multicultural Britain, Fahad was presented with the Diversity and Cultural Impact Award in the House of Commons by British MP Naz Shah, and received the Global Cultural Unity Award in the House of Lords from British Minister Lord Wajid Khan.
In an Instagram post titled "Our stories really matter" Fahad shared his thoughts on his latest achievement with his fans and followers, adamant that his awards symbolise the wealth of talent in Pakistan.
"This recognition is not just mineit belongs to every artist, every dreamer, and every storyteller in Pakistan who dares to dream big and cross boundaries," penned Fahad. "It is a testament to the power of our culture, our stories, and the unyielding spirit of unity that makes us shine on the global stage."
Fahad's recognition closely follows that of A-lister Mahira Khan, who was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in the British Parliament last month.
