Amy Adams recently responded to the growing fan speculation about her playing Taylor Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, in a potential biopic, calling the idea "amazing."

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adams reacted enthusiastically when Fallon informed her of the fancasting, due to their shared red hair. "That would be amazing. That would be so fun," she said, adding, “If it got me closer to Taylor, then…”

Adams also shared her newfound admiration for Swift, revealing that she became a "Swiftie at 50" after attending Swift's Eras Tour. “I’m like a shifty, 50, Swiftie,” she joked, admitting that her daughter was less than thrilled about her new fandom. Adams had always appreciated Swift's music, but the concert experience deepened her connection to the artist. “I went from like, normal, to like, ‘I’ll take all the friendship bracelets!’” she laughed.

The Enchanted star also reminisced about meeting Swift once at a party, where they famously sang karaoke together to 4 Non Blondes' "What’s Up?". Despite her enthusiasm, Adams humorously acknowledged that she probably sang too loud and overshadowed Swift’s performance.

Fans can only hope that Adams' enthusiasm might one day translate into a role portraying Paine in a Taylor Swift biopic, which would undoubtedly be a hit for both Swifties and moviegoers alike.
