Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari's car was involved in an accident on Canal Road in Lahore, but she remained uninjured.
According to sources within the Pakistan Muslim League-N, the incident occurred near the Jail Road underpass as Bokhari was travelling towards Punjab University, Express News reported.
The minister was on her way to attend a scholarship event organised by the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
Despite the collision, Bokhari was unharmed and continued her journey to the university in an alternate vehicle.
Authorities have not yet provided further details on the cause of the accident.
The incident occurred as Bokhari, a senior member of the provincial government, was heading to an official function. She is expected to resume her public duties without delay.
In the accident, the car of Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, was also hit. The sudden braking of the first vehicle caused a rickshaw to get caught in the collision between three vehicles.
