Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has stated that it will make no difference if Pakistan refuses to come to India for the upcoming events.

"If you think not coming to India will make a difference, you don't have to come. It's okay, you have the option. Host the tournament in a hybrid model; cricket fans are interested in watching the game," Harbhajan said.

Harbhajan further added that India-Pakistan matches are always rare and few in number. If any controversy arises, it should not affect where the match is held.

"Let the match take place as scheduled," he said.

Regarding the ICC Champions Trophy, Harbhajan emphasized that it should proceed without any ego. He suggested playing in a hybrid model, where matches can be held at neutral venues to ensure fans can still watch cricket. "If you try to create disruptions in this, how will the tournament go ahead?" he questioned.

Harbhajan Singh is often considered controversial due to his remarks against Pakistan, particularly following India's refusal to participate in the Champions Trophy. Reacting to Pakistan Cricket Board's hard stance after India's withdrawal, Harbhajan commented, "Do you think not coming to India will make any difference? It won't.

If you think not attending will impact the tournament in India, that's your perspective. You have the choice not to come."

He continued by pointing out that the Indian players are willing to play in Dubai and Abu Dhabi if necessary, indicating that the Indian team is flexible about the venue.

Despite having friendships with Pakistani cricketers like Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Saqlain Mushtaq, and Mohammad Yousuf, Harbhajan Singh is known for his outspoken remarks against Pakistan, often to build his reputation in India.
