The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has not sent any new team to Peshawar for the arrest of Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, sources in the anti-graft watchdog have said.
They noted that the arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi had been issued in the 190 million pounds corruption case, adding that a NAB team travelled to Peshawar for her arrest on Saturday.
According to sources, the NAB team, which was accompanied by local police, showed Bushra Bibi's arrest warrants at her residence, but they were informed that she was not present at there.
Later, the NAB team registered their visit at the relevant police station in Peshawar and returned.
