Harris family TikTok scandal: Munchausen by proxy speculation targets Allanah Harris

Brock and Allanah Harris face allegations that Allanah drugged their one-year-old daughter, Daisy.

The popular Harris Family on TikTok has recently become embroiled in a controversy. Australian couple Brock and Allanah Harris are under scrutiny after allegations surfaced claiming Allanah drugged their one-year-old daughter, Daisy, leading to months of hospitalization and unnecessary brain surgeries.  

According to a report dated November 19, Daisy was never seriously ill, despite reports of a severe medical condition. Allegations suggest Allanah intentionally gave Daisy a drug called benzodiazepines to simulate symptoms, sparking criticism from the family’s millions of followers.  

As a result, Daisy became lethargic and unwell, requiring hospital admission. The US Drug Enforcement Administration states that benzodiazepines are a class of sedative medications used to treat conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, and seizures.  

Additionally, a report speculates that Allanah may suffer from Munchausen by proxy. According to MedlinePlus, this is a mental health condition where a caregiver fabricates or induces illness in someone under their care to gain sympathy, attention, or other benefits.  

During Daisy’s medical treatments, including surgeries, the Harris family appealed to their TikTok followers to help with medical expenses. They also launched a GoFundMe page, which reportedly raised a significant amount of money.  

The controversy began when an anonymous social media user shared information online. After spotting inconsistencies in Allanah’s posts, nurses monitoring her social media claimed she was sharing false information for attention.  

These concerns led to further investigation, which eventually revealed that Daisy’s symptoms were caused by elevated benzodiazepine levels in her system.  

According to the same report by Ghana Celebrities, the anonymous source alleged via a screenshot that either Brock or Allanah had drugged their daughter. The source wrote on TikTok: “Got some Harris family goss for you. So the mum/dad or mum and dad have drugged Daisy the whole time! Some of the nurses started following her insta page/tiktok and was like hmm no, she’s spreading false info- she doesn’t have brain tumors and she was never palliative."
