TXT’s Soobin temporarily halts activities to focus on health recovery

TXT’s Soobin will take a temporary hiatus from activities due to health reasons, prioritizing rest and recovery.

Soobin, a member of TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), is temporarily stepping away from activities due to health concerns, according to a statement released by BIGHIT MUSIC on November 19, 2024.

The announcement revealed that Soobin recently visited a hospital after showing signs of being unwell. “The medical staff have advised that he would need sufficient time to rest and recover,” the agency stated. While Soobin expressed a strong desire to continue his activities, BIGHIT MUSIC decided, in consultation with him and the other members, to prioritize his recovery.

As a result, Soobin will not participate in several upcoming events, including the 2024 MAMA Awards, Japan offline fan events, ACT : PROMISE Encore in JAPAN, and a Shanghai fan signing event, among other year-end ceremonies and activities.

“We would like to apologize to our fans and ask for your generous understanding,” the agency added, assuring fans that Soobin plans to take the necessary rest to return in his best health. BIGHIT MUSIC also committed to fully supporting the artist during this time.

This announcement follows TXT’s recent achievements, including the release of their seventh mini-album, The Chapter of the Stars: The Secretariat, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Fans have expressed their support for Soobin on social media, emphasizing the importance of his health over appearances. No specific timeline has been shared for his return, but BIGHIT MUSIC promised updates as Soobin progresses in his recovery.
