Internet reacts to Zayn Malik lookalike contest participants: "Are the judges blind?"

A Zayn Malik lookalike competition was held on Sunday in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn, New York.

A Zayn Malik lookalike contest took place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Shiv Patel was declared the winner, with judges selecting him as the closest resemblance to Zayn Malik. Additionally, two others were named runners-up in the competition.  

After videos from the event began circulating on social media, many users expressed disbelief, with some questioning the judges’ decisions. 

A viral post by X user @PopCrave featured clips from the event, prompting one user to comment: “Are the judges blind?” 

Several others shared similar sentiments, criticizing the lack of resemblance between the winner and Zayn Malik.  

“Should’ve won the award for ‘worst lookalikes,’” wrote one user.  

“None of them look like him btw,” added another.  

“Zayn I’m so sorry,” another user commented.  

As the competition clips gained traction online, many mocked the judges and participants, highlighting the lack of similarity to Zayn Malik.  

“I would be fine letting nobody win if nobody looks like the actual person,” exclaimed one user.

“They picked some random guys lol,” commented an X user.  

Before hundreds gathered in Bushwick for the Zayn Malik contest, a similar event took place in October 2024, where fans competed in a Timothée Chalamet lookalike competition.
