On November 12, a new documentary by TMZ titled The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak-Offs was released on Tubi. Ray J, who is reportedly featured in the documentary, claimed that some of Diddy’s celebrity friends have recently approached him, expressing concerns about their connections to Diddy and potential consequences that may arise during his trial.

In the documentary, Ray J reportedly stated, "I’m hearing about artists paying victims to keep their name out of it.” When asked if the victims were demanding money for silence, he responded, “Here’s the other way around that: I’ll give you money. Please don’t talk.”

Ray J elaborated on these approaches from Diddy's celebrity friends, noting they are contacting him to "wanna tell me about certain things that happened with them and Diddy."

The One Wish artist added that these prominent figures are concerned about their "affiliation with Diddy" being revealed and think Ray J might be the one to bring it to light.

After making these claims about Diddy’s associates and their alleged efforts to pay for victims’ silence, Ray J reportedly admitted he might have “said too much” in the documentary. He then added, “So what? Now they gonna be mad. Come get me. F*** it.”

These statements from Ray J follow an Instagram post where he shared that someone allegedly tried to harm him. He wrote on his Instagram story: "ni**s just tried to shoot me... they tried to kill me, ni***. Do you want me to apologize, ni***? F*** you!"

However, Ray J did not mention who he thought might have been behind this alleged incident. According to All New Hip-Hop, he also claimed to have recently had multiple altercations with Diddy's sons due to his comments about their father.

The incident reportedly occurred in a Los Angeles club during the last week of October. During an Instagram live session with Nicki Minaj, Ray J revealed it was the third encounter he’d had with the Combs brothers. He added, "I got over cocky and said some things that were out of bounds. I said some over the top things that had to do with s****y and other things and I wasn’t proud of myself about what I did."
