Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson, 22, has confirmed her first pregnancy with her unidentified boyfriend.

The actress shared her excitement exclusively with People, saying, “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects.” The news follows Jackson’s recent legal issues, where domestic battery charges against her were dropped due to insufficient evidence.

In August, Jackson was detained at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles following an alleged altercation with her boyfriend. Law enforcement reviewed surveillance footage and found no visible injuries or weapons involved. In September, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office declined to pursue the case, citing lack of cooperation from Jackson’s boyfriend and her clean criminal record. Jackson's representatives expressed relief over the dismissal, emphasizing it was a misunderstanding.

Jackson, best known for her roles on Disney Channel’s Jessie and Bunk’d, also sparked pregnancy rumors recently after being seen in Los Angeles cradling her stomach. The actress continues to make strides in her career while preparing for motherhood, with her latest film, The Man in the White Van, set for release on Dec. 13.
