The fund’s plea for support, announced on social media, sparked strong reactions, with some online users suggesting that Harris may suspect fraud in the election process. While some commenters expressed support for the recount, others questioned the fund's transparency, suspecting it may be aimed at managing campaign debt rather than recount efforts.

The Harris Fight Fund, as shared by Pop Flop on November 11, clarified that the donations are focused on legislative races rather than the presidential vote.

However, the recount push has prompted a change.org petition by Anthony Ferguson, calling for a full recount, citing alleged irregularities in voter numbers and campaign conduct in certain regions. The petition has gathered over 9,000 signatures, fueling further online debate over election integrity and recount funding. Despite the mixed responses, Harris’ campaign maintains its call to action for supporters seeking to address what they perceive as inconsistencies.
