The Islamabad High Court (IHC) issued notices on Monday to the interior ministry, the Islamabad police and other parties on a petition filed by Noreen Niazi, seeking details of cases registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan.
IHC Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the petition of Niazi, a sister of the PTI founder. She had also requested to halt the arrest of PTI founder in any known or unknown cases till the final decision on her petition.
Mirza Asim Baig and Shahina Shahab advocates appeared on behalf of the petitioner. They argued that full details of the cases filed against the founder PTI and copies of the FIRs should be provided.
