Lok Mela 2024 reached new heights as the renowned band Khumariyaan performed on Lok Virsa's Golden Jubilee celebration night. The event, hosted by Lok Virsa at its open-air theatre, showcased the country's vibrant traditions, music, and arts.
Khumariyaan, known for their soulful melodies and energetic performances, captivated the audience with their signature blend of traditional and contemporary sounds. Their music echoed with the crowd, creating an unforgettable evening filled with fun, joy and cultural pride.
The International Pavilion at Lok Mela 2024 added an international flavour to the festivities. Visitors had the opportunity to experience the cultures of Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, and Turkey. The pavilion featured captivating displays of traditional attire, handicrafts, and culinary delights from these countries.
This annual cultural extravaganza, organised between November 8 and November 17 from 10am to 10pm at Mela Grounds of Lok Virsa, exhibits the diverse tapestry of Pakistan's heritage through a captivating display of traditional arts, crafts, music, dance, and cuisine.
