LAHORE:

Pakistan has set a new world record for the largest human flag, created in the heart of Lahore by over 10,000 students from the Lahore Garrison Education System.

The record-breaking event, led by students from APS Lahore, involved 10,248 participants, surpassing India's previous record of 7,368 students, set earlier this year and recognised by the Guinness World Records.

On November 7, Guinness World Records officially certified the achievement and extended congratulations to Pakistan.

Following the remarkable accomplishment, the students celebrated joyously, swaying to patriotic songs as the stunning aerial view of the human flag captivated the nation.

The record-breaking event, part of the Lahore Youth Festival organised by the Punjab government, broke the previous record held by India, where 7,368 students had formed a similar flag earlier this year.
