Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the distribution of thousands of green tractors and land levelers among farmers free of charge under a package to increase wheat production in the province.
According to the announcement, 1,000 land levelers will be given free of charge to the farmers who would cultivate wheat.
Farmers who would cultivate more than 25 acres of land across Punjab will get 1,000 green tractors free of cost.
The wheat farmers will be given the tractors and land levelers through balloting.
The CM said, "The farmers of Punjab will not be left alone and the Punjab government would fully support them.
