Jessie Beyer, a Boston-based influencer and outspoken Kamala Harris supporter, faced intense criticism after posting a video wishing “complicated pregnancies” on women who voted for Donald Trump.
Beyer’s video, shared shortly after Trump’s election win, voiced her frustration over the outcome, calling Trump voters “ugly, dumb bigots” and saying they should face the consequences of their choice. “I think if you voted for Donald Trump you’re ugly, and I think you’re dumb as bricks and I think you’re a bigot in every sense of the word,” she said in the now-deleted video.
Expressing her anger, Beyer added, “I also won’t care when all of the bad stuff that’s gonna happen to you happens to you. I actually want it to happen to you.”
She continued, “I want your taxes to go up, I want things to be more expensive for you, I want you to have a complicated pregnancy. I want all that bad stuff to happen to you because that’s what you deserve.”
The video, which quickly went viral, was shared by Trump supporters on X (formerly Twitter), with many labeling her remarks “evil” and “unhinged.”
