Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi will preside over an important meeting of the Supreme judicial Council (SJC) on Friday.
Additionally, constitutional benches will be formed next week, and key cases will be scheduled for hearing before them.
The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has appointed seven judges for the constitutional benches, with Justice Aminuddin Khan serving as its head.
The constitutional bench will hear review petitions on the reserved seats verdict, a petition on the 26th Amendment, and other significant constitutional cases.
