In a major reshuffle in the Supreme Court staff, Muhammad Saleem Khan was appointed as the registrar of the apex court, while Muhammad Umair was appointed as the staff officer of the chief justice, according to separate notifications on Wednesday.
Khan, the new Supreme Court registrar, replaced Jazeela Aslam, who was brought to the apex court by former chief justice Qazi Faez Isa. Previously, she was serving as the district and sessions judge of Okara in Punjab.
Muhammad Salim Khan, who previously served as the Chief Secretary of K-P, has been appointed on a contract basis for three years.
