Elon Musk brought his young son, X Æ A-12, affectionately known as "X," to Donald Trump’s Election Night watch party at Mar-a-Lago, where the four-year-old quickly stole the spotlight.
The Tesla CEO, 53, attended Trump’s Tuesday evening bash, accompanied by his son from his relationship with singer Grimes.
It may have been late for the toddler, but X appeared to enjoy himself at the event, mingling with high-profile guests, snacking on treats, and sharing special moments with his famous father.
In one snapshot, X is seen smiling as he sits atop Musk’s shoulders; in another, he’s captured snacking on cookies, dressed in a miniature blue suit.
Other guests at Trump’s party included UFC President Dana White, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville, and Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba. Notably, X wore a customized red MAGA hat inscribed with “Make voting great again” and held up a Trump/Vance sign while chatting with former First Lady Melania Trump.
This isn’t X’s first appearance at a Trump event; Musk previously brought him to a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden last week. Musk, who contributed $75 million to his own pro-Trump Super PAC, welcomed X in May 2020 with Grimes.
The former couple also has a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, born in 2021, and a son, Techno Mechanicus, born in 2022.
Following her daughter’s birth, Grimes expressed her desire for privacy for her children, noting that her son “is out there” because Musk often brings him to high-profile events. She added that Musk sees X as his “protégé.”
