In his final Instagram post, legendary producer Quincy Jones celebrated his daughter Martina's 58th birthday, writing, "So proud to be yo papa! Big hug, I love you eternally." Jones, who passed away Sunday at age 91, leaves behind a legacy not only in music but also in family, with seven children from three marriages.
Jones’ first child, Jolie Jones Levine, was born to his first wife, actress Jeri Caldwell. Jolie, now a model and singer, shared a close bond with her father, as seen in their cherished photos on his Instagram. His second child, Rachel Jones, now a veterinarian, was born in 1963 to his partner Carol Reynolds.
With his second wife, model Ulla Andersson, Jones welcomed two more children: Martina, a photographer, and Quincy Jones III, who followed in his father's footsteps as a music producer. From his marriage to actress Peggy Lipton, Jones had two daughters: Kidada, a fashion designer whom he called his “muse,” and actress Rashida Jones, best known for her roles on The Office and Parks and Recreation. Jones’ youngest, Kenya Kinski-Jones, born in 1993 to actress Nastassja Kinski, is a model.
Quincy Jones' legacy lives on through his seven children, who each carry a piece of his passion, creativity, and love for the arts.
