Mariah The Scientist recently found herself torn between love and duty, a decision that has left fans divided. 

While performing as a supporting act on Latto’s 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea' tour, Mariah paused her tour schedule to spend time with her partner, rapper Young Thug, who was recently released from prison. Young Thug, involved in the YSL RICO case, accepted a plea deal that reduced his 40-year sentence to time served, allowing his release after being in custody since May 2022.

During a show in Cincinnati on November 1, Mariah canceled her live appearance but connected with fans via FaceTime, where the audience sang her song 'Spread Thin' to her. The Andrew J Brady Music Center posted an update on X (formerly Twitter), informing fans of the change and confirming that Latto and Karrahbooo would still perform.
