Jamaican vlogger Cushane Damiah Carter, also known as CMR, was arrested on November 2 in Orange County, Florida, by Apopka Police Department officers.
Carter has over 330,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel The Carter Family.
According to booking information shared on social media, Carter faces charges of "lewd/lascivious molestation," with reports suggesting the case may involve his stepdaughter.
Carter’s bond was set at $7,500, with a court appearance scheduled for today. Notably, Carter’s last video, titled “This Is What We Did For Halloween,” was posted on the day of his arrest.
This incident adds to Carter's prior legal issues, including a 2021 domestic battery charge following a dispute with his wife, Crissy, reportedly over finances.
Earlier this year, the couple faced public scrutiny over infidelity allegations but reaffirmed their commitment and continued creating family-oriented content.
Despite these challenges, Carter remains influential in the dancehall community, where he has built a significant following.
