Chloë Grace Moretz, the talented actress known for her roles in films like (500) Days of Summer and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, has publicly come out as a gay woman in a recent Instagram post. On November 1, she shared her experience voting early in the 2024 presidential election and officially endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, highlighting the significance of this election for the LGBTQ+ community.

In her post, Moretz showcased a picture with a sticker reading “I voted early 2024,” set against a patriotic background of red, white, and blue. She expressed her strong support for Harris, noting the Vice President’s commitment to advocating for LGBTQIA rights. Moretz stated, “Kamala Harris will protect that for us. I believe in the need for legal protections that safeguard the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman.”
 


Moretz has been open about her relationship with model Kate Harrison, with the couple often spotted together at public events and wearing matching rings. Their relationship has drawn attention since they were first seen together in 2018.

In addition to advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, Moretz addressed the issue of women's health care in her post, asserting that decisions regarding personal choices, such as abortion, should be made by women and their doctors, free from government interference. She concluded her message by urging her 24 million Instagram followers to plan their voting strategies ahead of the election.
