Rumors are circulating on social media that Quaker Oats may be planning to bring back the Aunt Jemima brand in 2025.

The speculation gained traction after a Facebook post claimed that Quaker Oats announced the brand would reappear on syrup bottles next year, quoting the company as saying, "Our customers have spoken."

The rumor quickly spread across platforms, with similar claims appearing on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), where some users interpreted the story as factual.

However, fact-checkers traced the origin of the rumor to ALLOD, a Facebook network known for satirical content. ALLOD’s pages, including America Loves Liberty, regularly publish fabricated stories, and the fictional article was also shared by The Dunning-Kruger Times, a satirical online publication.

The 2020 retirement of Aunt Jemima came amid concerns over its portrayal rooted in racial stereotypes, leading Quaker Oats to rename the product Pearl Milling Company.

Despite the social media buzz, there’s no credible evidence or official announcement from Quaker Oats to suggest Aunt Jemima is set to return. Neither reputable news outlets nor Quaker itself has reported any plans to revert to the original branding.
