At a recent stop on his Dil-Luminati Tour in New Delhi, Diljit Dosanjh pulled off a move that left fans swooning. Mid-concert, he took off his jacket and handed it over to a lucky fan. Sweet gesture, right? Well, not everyone thought so. Social media's resident misogynist and provocateur Andrew Tate, who can't seem to keep his opinions—or his tasteless remarks—to himself, chimed in with, "Bet it stinks of curry."

While Dosanjh has kept quiet about the racist remark (presumably too busy actually being loved by his fans), his supporters wasted no time clapping back. Among them was singer Adnan Sami, who saw Tate's comment and delivered a mic-drop moment in response and directed Tate to the nearest mirror to take a good look in.

"Wrong. It smelled of love, and the best part was that none of the audience members were rapists or child traffickers like what you're accused of and arrested for," he wrote. Sami's comment quickly went viral, and Instagram users flocked to cheer him on. One fan summed it up, saying, "A fool won't know the scent of love," while others simply thanked him for calling out Tate's racism head-on.

For those somehow unfamiliar with Tate's growing rap sheet: Tate, dual US and British citizen, has made a career out of spewing ultra-masculine garbage, denigrating women, and glorifying his allegedly "alpha" lifestyle. But he's not just offensive online. In mid-2023, he found himself facing legal charges related to human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and money laundering. Currently, he's under house arrest as a second investigation probes accusations involving minors and an organised crime group.

But back to Dosanjh and the delightful story of his generosity that inevitably found its way back to him. After wrapping up a stellar performance in Delhi, Air India surprised the singer with a special gift: a plane dedicated to his India tour. Yes, an entire plane, decked out with his tour logo and snapshots of him performing, all in honour of his fans across the country. Dosanjh shared the surprise on Instagram, showing off the "Dil-Luminati Tour India" insignia emblazoned across the aircraft.
